At Sailorman, we give you three ways to sell your marine gear.

• Sell outright: Bring in your marine gear and walk out with cash (or a check). Chuck, buys here Monday to Friday from 9 to 6 (until 3:30 on Thurdsay). For best results, contact Chuck at 800-523-0772 or at chuck@sailorman.com to arrange a time and to give him an idea of what you have. He will not give estimates without seeing the items first.
  
• Trade: Get more bang for your marine gear when you purchase merchandise at the same time you're selling! For more details contact Chuck at 800-523-0772 or at chuck@sailorman.com
  
• Consignment:If you don't like Chuck's price, or if it is not an item we buy, then you may be able to consign your marine gear. The split is 2/3 for you and 1/3 for us (terms are slightly adjustable for more expensive items). If you have more questions about consigning an item contact Dave at 800-523-0772 or dave@sailorman.com.

Return Policy:
There are times when OUR description of an item as "great shape", "fair condition" or "scratched" and what YOU think when you actually see the item are different. We are a reputable business and are very honest with our customers. After dealing with used gear for 20 years we have a good track record in evaluating used and surplus items. It has been our policy not to ship used gear sight unseen. However, we seem to make rules only to bend them in an attempt to please our customers. Also, with the advent of the WWW and the fact that we are entering a new era of business practices, we have to have new policies. If there is a used item you are interested in purchasing and you cannot come to the store to see it, we will make every attempt to describe the condition to you or send a photo. If you do purchase it and, after receiving it you do not want it because the condition was not what you had in mind, we will refund the cost of the item if it is returned to us in a timely manner. This refund will not include the cost of the outbound or inbound freight. Due to terms in our contracts, consignment items cannot be sold sight unseen.
